Allen's Vulcan Inc., the Li Ka Shing Foundation and Okeanos, in partnership with The Oceanic Preservation Society and Obscura Digital, and under the auspices of the World Bank Group's Connect4Climate initiative, will present a gift of contemporary public art entitled "Fiat Lux: Illuminating our Common Home" to Pope Francis on the opening day of the Extraordinary Jubilee of Mercy. At this unprecedented and historic event, beautiful images of our shared natural world will be projected onto the façade of St. Peter's Basilica in a contemporary work of public art that tells the visual story of the interdependency of humans and life on earth with the planet, in order to educate and inspire change around the climate crisis across generations, cultures, languages, religions and class.

We will interview children from different nations: from India to Italy, the US to the UK and pose these 10 questions. We will comb the globe to find kids from diverse socio-cultural backgrounds who are united by shared dreams and visions for the future. Why children? Because their innocent perspective provides a unique open channel. They are still deeply unbiased and free of constrictions. Youth provide us with pearls of absolute and surprising wisdom, brutally honest quips and comments bursting with irony. Those same questions will then be directed to the planet’s great spiritual leaders and world-renowned scientists. We will ask these 10 questions to modern day luminaries- men and women who have broken barriers and contributed greatly to our human landscape and experience. We will travel to holy lands and modern metropoles to interview varied people. We will hear from ancient tribal leaders and mainstream religious figures; we will then gather responses from some of today’s greatest scientific minds. 10 Little Questions will present these wide-ranging answers in a dialogue that is sure to be full of intellect and intuition; insight and inspiration.. 10 Little Questions is a documentary about reality and beauty.
